Heath Farm is an independent fostering agency operating throughout London, Kent and Essex. We have an outstanding team of carers and staff who specialise in providing therapeutic care for children with complex needs.
We provide the four key services for looked after children – foster care, education, therapy and contact. This wraparound model of care supports children who have complex needs, while working closely with Local Authorities and the child’s family. We pioneered this approach in the early 90s.
A little extra help
Heath Farm foster carers receive free membership to The Fostering Network, which provides benefits like legal, accounting and tax advice for all foster carers, plus a counselling helpline, a medical and first aid helpline and more. When you join us, you’ll also be able to access perks including social activities, a discount scheme for cinemas and family days out, and long service awards.
Heath Farm in conjunction with The Fostering Network, is delivering the Mockingbird programme, which is an innovative method of foster care using the Mockingbird Family Model. This is an extended family model that provides sleepovers and short breaks, peer support, regular joint planning and training, and social activities.
Our foster carers become part of a local fostering support community that cares for vulnerable children. You’ll be joining a friendly, professional and understanding team of social workers, psychotherapists, psychologists and strong peer groups that are available whenever you need, right on your doorstep. After all, it takes time, dedication and commitment to become a foster carer. We don’t expect you to do it alone.
We are known for our success in transforming the lives of many children. Because of this, we have built strong relationships with local authorities who trust us to care for vulnerable children and young people who need a loving home.
Foster care provides a wealth of emotional rewards and we want to ensure you can enjoy these without worrying about bills.
Heath Farm was founded in 1993, one of the first independent fostering organisations in England, serving London, Kent and Essex.
