From the age of 12, Jo from Leicestershire had had a difficult childhood growing up and was placed with different foster cares. Now a successful property...
We are a leading independent fostering agency serving the Midlands, Warwickshire and the South West. Our brilliant foster carers are supported by an outstanding professional team. Together, they provide the highest quality of care to vulnerable children and young people, who are the heart of everything we do.
Local authority partner
We are a contracted provider of fostering services to all local authorities in the Midlands, Warwickshire and the South West. Children from all across these regions are in need of a fostering family, to help them feel safe and supported. The volume and diversity of children in need of a foster family means we have more opportunities to place a child (or children) with you, whilst you and your family’s situation are also at the forefront of our mind.
A little extra help
You’ll receive free membership to The Fostering Network, which provides a range of benefits including legal, accounting and tax advice for all foster carers, plus confidential advice, a medical and first aid helpline, to name just a few. Joining Pathway Care also means social activities for birth and foster children, a discount scheme for cinemas and family days out, long service awards and much more.
Working closely with local authorities, our foster carers support many children and have a strong and developing Parent and Child service, where carers can support young parents and their children. We also provide fostering services to unaccompanied asylum seeking children (UASC), children with complex disabilities, and children going into or coming out of residential care.
We allocate a buddy at the application stage. After joining us, you’ll receive ongoing support in many forms, including a Carer Engagement Officer, the opportunity to join local support groups and an out-of-hours and weekend emergency support line. All our carers also have complete access to a comprehensive and exciting training programme, enabling you to gain the skills you need to become a foster care expert.
Fostering children will present you with new challenges every day. We believe if you feel equipped for these situations then the children in your care will have the very best chance of settling with you.
Foster care provides a wealth of emotional rewards and we want to ensure you can enjoy these without worrying about bills.
