Supporting the registered manager in the day to day running of Pathway Care South West. Managing and supporting supervising social workers. Working with foster carers, children and young people. Being part of the management duty system. Matching children and young people referred to the agency with fostering placements. Recruitment & Assessment of potential foster carers, supporting and developing foster carers, monitoring placements, identifying and responding to foster carer practice and safeguarding issues, planning and facilitating support groups, multi-agency working in respect of children/young people.

I have worked for Pathway Care for since May 2012. Prior to this I was a Deputy Service Manager for Frontiers - a day provision for children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties as well as children with mental health issues. I have several years’ experience of working within Exeter Joint Agency Team for children with disabilities and also Exeter CAMHS, helping to set up the Service Around the Child Team for Devon LA. I have also undertaken a statutory social work role for Devon LA and have experience in court work, child protection and safe guarding.
