Children First Fostering Agency is an independent agency providing high quality foster care for children and young people aged between 0 to 18 years old, and constitutes a core part of the National Fostering Group’s services across South East England.
In addition to our Basildon head office, we have centrally located carer hubs close to Milton Keynes, Luton, Colchester, Ipswich, Southend and in London to ensure dedicated fostering support is always close by.
Our support includes a dedicated social worker who will guide you through your foster carer assessment process. Once approved as a foster carer with us, you will have access to experienced practitioners providing therapeutic and educational advice, supporting you to provide a child in your care with everything they need to enjoy a happy, healthy and fulfilling time with you.
If you are interested in making a difference to a child’s life and becoming part of our professional fostering team, please contact us today.
We will work closely with you during your foster carer assessment to determine the right types of fostering for you and your situation. Whether a short-term or long-term foster care is appropriate, this helps us ensure that children and young people are given the right homes for their specific needs.
Because we take pride in the personal and professional development of all of our foster carers, we believe it is important that the allowance provided to you is enough for a good quality of life for you and the child in your care. Your allowance includes two weeks’ annual paid respite where other carers will take care of the child you are fostering enabling you to take a well-deserved break.
We offer many benefits being part of the National Fostering Agency family, a nationally recognised fostering services provider but being a small, closely connected agency, we maintain an approachable local support network. You will always feel informed and prepared as a foster carer with us. Strategically located social workers and support staff are there to answer your fostering questions whenever you need us.
Children First carers provide a nurturing, warm and welcoming family environment from which a child or young person can flourish and reach their full potential.
