Shantha is qualified social worker with a Master’s in social work and over 30 years’ experience working in a local authority.  Shantha has been in previous management roles in the social work field, including a fostering team. Shantha has had a variety of roles and experience in child protection, working with looked after children, Kinship/Special Guardianship /Fostering, where I worked in partnership with foster carers. Shantha’s most recent role was a Team managers post in Early Help in Children’s Services a role which she held for 3 years until joining Next Step Fostering in January 2022.
